Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced and creative Snacks Chef to join our culinary team. The candidate should have expertise in preparing a wide variety of Indian and fusion snacks, ensuring taste, quality, and consistency, while maintaining kitchen hygiene and food safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and cook a variety of Indian snacks, street food, and starters (such as chaats, pakoras, samosas, rolls, sandwiches, etc.).
Develop and experiment with new snack recipes to enhance the menu.
Ensure proper seasoning, garnishing, and presentation of all snack items.
Maintain quality, portion control, and consistency of all dishes.
Coordinate with the team to manage daily kitchen operations efficiently.
Follow hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards at all times.
Monitor stock, assist in inventory management, and reduce wastage.
Train and guide junior staff/helpers in snack preparation and service.
Requirements:
2–4 years of proven experience in snacks and street food preparation.
Strong knowledge of traditional Indian snacks and ability to innovate.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
Good teamwork, communication, and time-management skills.
Passion for cooking and creativity in food presentation.
