We are looking for a Chef/Helper/Captain to join our team at Oak & Ember and prepare delicious meals for the guests. Key responsibility includes preparing and delivering high-quality dishes and also know the dish presentation, setting up the menu, and delegating tasks to kitchen staff (If needed). The position offers an in-hand salary of ₹10000 - ₹25000 (as per the role)
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
Set up the kitchen with cooking utensils and equipment.
Cook food in a timely manner.
Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients.
Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests (example: No dairy, exclude nuts, Hain food).
Check the freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
Job Requirements:
The minimum qualification for this role is 1 - 6+ years of experience. Familiarity with cooking techniques (advance & non-traditional), recipes, and sanitation regulations are ideal for the position. The role requires excellent time management and leadership skills. A culinary school diploma or certification in a similar field is a plus.
We need:
All Rounder Chef: Knows all dishes ( Indian, Chinese, Tandoori, Continental, Beverages etc)
Commi 2 Chinese: Knows all Chinese dishes ( Noodles, Spring Roll, Chilli Potato,Manchurian, Crispy Veg, Chilli Gobhi, Gobhi 65, Non Veg etc)
Commi 2 Tandoor: knows all tandoori dishes, like, Roti, naan, lacha paratha, missing roti, Chaap, Paneer , Mashroom, Chicken, Paneer Multani, Paneer Kandhari etc)
Helper: Who can help all the chef and maintain the kitchen hygiene
Captain: Who know the beverages and also take the order from the customer and make sure the deliverables
