Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing high-quality beverages, handling customer orders, and ensuring a clean and welcoming café environment. This role focuses on excellent customer service, product knowledge, and maintaining café standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to standard recipes.

• Greet customers warmly and take orders efficiently.

• Provide product recommendations and upsell items where appropriate.

• Operate coffee machines, grinders, and other café equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness of the café area, including counters, tables, and equipment.

• Ensure proper hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.

• Manage inventory of coffee beans, milk, and other supplies; report shortages.

• Handle cash, process payments, and maintain accurate billing records.

• Follow company procedures, recipes, and presentation guidelines.

• Support team members and assist in daily café operations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a barista or in food & beverage service (preferred).

• Knowledge of coffee brewing methods, espresso preparation, and café equipment.

• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic understanding of hygiene and food safety standards.

• Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
