About the Role

Technova Global is hiring Multimedia Associates for one of Asia’s largest entertainment companies. We are looking for passionate candidates with strong language skills, excellent listening ability, good typing speed, and interest in media localization, subtitling, and closed captioning.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and synchronize subtitles for movies, TV content, web series, and digital media.

• Perform closed captioning with proper speaker identification and sound cues.

• Translate subtitles between language pairs while maintaining tone and readability.

• Ensure subtitle timing, segmentation, punctuation, and formatting meet quality standards.

• Proofread subtitle files for grammar, spelling, synchronization, and consistency.

• Handle transcription and captioning tasks with high listening accuracy.

• Work with tools such as Subtitle Edit and Aegisub.

• Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines.

• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism while handling media content.

Required Skills

• Strong communication skills in English and regional languages.

• Excellent grammar, punctuation, and translation ability.

• Good listening and comprehension skills across different accents.

• Typing speed of minimum 45 WPM with high accuracy preferred.

• Basic knowledge of subtitle editing tools is an added advantage.

• Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.

• Ability to work under deadlines and manage repetitive review tasks efficiently.

• Coding knowledge or technical background is a plus.

• Hindi ↔ Tamil

• English ↔ Regional Languages

Eligibility

• Any Graduate / Postgraduate

• Freshers with strong language skills are welcome.

• Experienced candidates in subtitling, captioning, transcription, translation, or media operations are preferred.
