We are looking for an experienced Editor and Proofreader with strong knowledge of academic books for Nursery to 5th class. The candidate should be proficient in editing and proofreading educational content, including textbooks, workbooks, and activity books, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and age-appropriate language. The role involves checking grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and factual correctness while adhering to curriculum guidelines and publisher style standards. The editor will coordinate with authors, designers, and DTP operators to incorporate corrections, review page proofs, and ensure content aligns with learning objectives. A good understanding of child-centric pedagogy, grade-wise vocabulary levels, and academic formatting is essential. The ideal candidate should be detail-oriented, capable of meeting deadlines, and experienced in handling multiple academic titles simultaneously. Prior experience in educational publishing and familiarity with Nursery to primary-level curricula will be a strong advantage.
