Job Title: Academic Content Developer (On-Site)
GAMMA Marine is hiring an Academic Content Developer (On-Site) to support the preparation and standardization of courseware for various programs. Your role is to edit, format, structure, and convert these SME notes into professional academic documents, PowerPoint presentations, and tutorial materials.

· Receive raw notes, explanations, and inputs from SMEs and convert them into clean, well-formatted academic documents.
· Proofread and edit SME-provided content for clarity, language correctness, layout, and UK English usage.
· Format Word documents using institutional templates (styles, tables, numbering, layout).
· Create or enhance PowerPoint presentations based on the SME content, ensuring visual clarity and academic consistency.
· Prepare tutorial sheets, activity worksheets, MCQs, and supporting materials as per guidelines (content provided by SMEs).
· Maintain consistency across modules — headings, fonts, numbering, diagrams, tables, and references.
· Conduct quality checks to ensure accuracy, readability, and professional presentation.
· Maintain version control and organise all documents for easy retrieval.
· Collaborate closely with SMEs and trainers to understand small corrections or clarifications needed in the content.
· 0–2 years of experience in content editing, formatting, academic documentation, or similar roles.
· Strong command of UK English grammar, punctuation, and style.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word (styles, templates, tables, formatting) and PowerPoint (design, layout).
· Ability to organize and structure raw notes into clear academic formats.
· Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
· Ability to work full-time from the office (mandatory).
· Interest in academic formatting or technical documentation is desirable.
· Engineering or technical familiarity is beneficial but not compulsory.
· Daily collaboration with senior SMEs—strong learning exposure.
· Opportunity to contribute to international-standard courseware.
· Stable working hours and professional work environment.
· Clear growth path into roles such as Senior Editor, Instructional Design Associate, Documentation Specialist, etc.
