We are looking for a friendly, efficient, and reliable Cashier to manage all front counter transactions and provide excellent customer service at our bakery. The ideal candidate should be well-presented, attentive, and capable of handling both customer interactions and basic store support tasks with professionalism and accuracy.
1. Customer Service & Sales
Greet customers warmly and provide a positive in-store experience.
Assist customers in selecting bakery and pastry items, upselling where appropriate.
Ensure all customer orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a neat and appealing display of bakery products at the counter.
2. Billing & Cash Handling
Operate the POS system for billing, receipts, and payment processing.
Handle cash, card, and digital transactions accurately and responsibly.
Reconcile daily sales, maintain cash records, and deposit reports.
Ensure billing counters are organized and well-stocked with required materials (bills, carry bags, etc.).
3. Store Hygiene & Upkeep
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene at the counter and display areas.
Follow proper food handling and hygiene standards as per company guidelines.
Assist with packaging, labeling, and replenishing display shelves when needed.
4. Coordination & Support
Work closely with the kitchen and serving team to ensure smooth order flow.
Communicate customer requests or feedback promptly to the team.
Assist in receiving, sorting, and organizing deliveries when required.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a cashier or customer service associate in a café, bakery, or QSR.
Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with POS systems.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Well-groomed, punctual, and customer-focused.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Flexible to work in shifts, weekends, and holidays.
