Position Details

Position: Cashier
Location: Noida Sector - 50
Salary: Fixed ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 (based on experience)
Working Hours: 10:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Position Overview

The Cashier plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth billing operations and delivering a positive checkout experience to customers. This position requires accuracy, professionalism, and a customer-friendly attitude while handling transactions in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role is ideal for individuals who are detail-oriented, responsible, and comfortable managing cash, digital payments, and billing systems in a jewellery retail setup.

Key Responsibilities

● Handle cash, UPI, card, and other digital payment transactions accurately
● Generate bills using POS systems and ensure error-free invoicing
● Maintain daily cash balance and assist in end-of-day cash reconciliation
● Ensure proper handling of refunds, exchanges, and discounts as per company policy
● Coordinate with sales staff for smooth billing and customer flow
● Maintain records of transactions and submit daily reports to management
● Ensure a polite, professional, and efficient checkout experience for customers
● Follow company guidelines related to billing, security, and cash handling

Requirements

● Basic knowledge of billing software / POS systems
● Good numerical accuracy and attention to detail
● Honest, responsible, and well-organised personality
● Basic computer knowledge (billing, reports, spreadsheets preferred)
● Customer-friendly communication skills
● Ability to work in a retail environment with integrity and professionalism
● Prior experience as a cashier in retail/jewellery stores is preferred but not mandatory
