Core Responsibilities
Payment Processing: Compute customer bills using dealership software and process payments via cash, check, or credit card.
Reconciliation: Balance the cash drawer at the start and end of your shift, prepare bank deposits, and report discrepancies to the accounting or office manager.
Customer Service: Greet visitors, answer multi-line phone systems, issue receipts, and direct customer complaints or questions to the appropriate service advisor or sales manager.
Administrative Support: Assist the front office by filing service records, processing extended warranty payments, and managing office inventory. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7]
Qualifications & Skills
Math & Organization: Strong basic math skills and high attention to detail for handling transactions and counting money.
Customer Service: Professional, friendly demeanor with the ability to remain calm during busy or stressful situations.
Tech Literacy: Proficiency with point-of-sale (POS) systems, dealership management software (like ADP or CDK), and basic office equipment.
