Key Responsibilities
Greet customers and assist them in a courteous and professional manner.
Scan, price, and process customer purchases accurately.
Accept payments via cash, credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and other approved methods.
Issue receipts, refunds, exchanges, and store credits according to company policies.
Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
Resolve customer inquiries and direct customers to appropriate departments when necessary.
Promote loyalty programs, memberships, and ongoing store promotions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout area.
Assist with stocking shelves, merchandising, and inventory checks when required.
Follow company policies related to cash handling, security, and customer service.
