Hiring: Professional Cosmetologist

Position: Cosmetologist

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: [Victor Heights, Koliwada, Vasai West, Vasai-Virar, Maharashtra 401201]

Experience: [6 months- 1 years] preferred

About the Role

Diana’s Salon is looking for a skilled, professional, and customer-focused Cosmetologist to join our team. The ideal candidate should have good technical knowledge, excellent client-handling skills, a professional attitude, and a genuine passion for the beauty industry.

Key Responsibilities

Hair Services

- Haircuts and hair styling

- Blow-drying and professional styling

- Hair washing and conditioning

- Hair treatments and deep conditioning

- Hair colouring, global colour, highlights and other colour services

- Basic knowledge of bleach, developers and colour correction

- Straightening, smoothening and other chemical treatments

- Hair consultation and recommending suitable services

Skin & Beauty Services

- Basic and professional facials

- Skin consultation and skincare treatments

- Waxing services

- Basic knowledge of different skin types and suitable products

Nail Services

- Manicure and pedicure

- Basic nail shaping, cuticle care and nail grooming

- Basic knowledge of gel/nail services is an advantage

Client Service Responsibilities

- Welcome clients warmly and maintain a professional attitude.

- Understand the client's requirements before beginning a service.

- Recommend suitable treatments and products according to the client's needs.

- Maintain excellent hygiene and sanitation throughout every service.

- Ensure clients are comfortable and satisfied with their experience.

- Handle client questions and concerns professionally.

- Maintain long-term relationships with clients and encourage repeat visits.

Salon Responsibilities

- Keep the workstation clean, organized and sanitized.

- Properly clean and maintain salon tools and equipment.

- Use salon products responsibly and avoid unnecessary wastage.

- Inform management when products or supplies are running low.

- Follow salon policies, hygiene standards and safety procedures.

- Maintain a professional appearance and punctuality.

- Work respectfully and cooperatively with other members of the salon team.

Skills We Are Looking For

- Strong knowledge of cosmetology and beauty services

- Good hair-cutting and styling skills

- Knowledge of hair colour and chemical treatments

- Good communication and client-handling skills

- Attention to detail

- Clean and hygienic working habits

- Ability to understand and follow client requirements

- Willingness to learn new techniques and trends

- Team player with a positive and professional attitude

Requirements

- Cosmetology/beauty certification or relevant professional training preferred.

- Previous salon experience preferred.

- Candidates should be confident performing services independently.

- A portfolio of previous work is an advantage.

What We Expect

We are looking for someone who is professional, trustworthy, punctual, well-groomed, hardworking and passionate about beauty. The candidate should treat every client with respect and maintain the quality standards of Diana’s Salon.

Salary: ₹ 6,000-8,000 per month

Working Hours: 10am - 8 pm

Weekly Off: Monday to Thursday any 1 day
