Our reputed client is a leading company in the Printing & Packaging / Ink manufacturing industry, known for quality products, cost efficiency, and strong operational systems.

Job Description:

We are seeking Purchase Executives responsible for procurement of raw materials from local as well as out-of-territory suppliers. The role involves coordination with multiple departments, cost optimization, material planning, and effective vendor management. Candidates with experience in the Packaging or Ink industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities:

• Procurement of raw materials from local and out-of-station suppliers

• Vendor identification, negotiation, and relationship management

• Coordination with Stores, Production, Marketing, and Accounts departments

• Material planning and scheduling as per production requirements

• Cost reduction through strategic sourcing and negotiation

• Handling purchase enquiries, comparison, and finalization

• Preparation and follow-up of Purchase Orders (POs)

• Monitoring delivery schedules and ensuring timely material availability

• Knowledge and handling of Import & Export purchases (preferred)

• Maintain purchase records, documentation, and MIS reports

Qualification:

• B.Com / M.Com

• Diploma or Degree in Purchase Management
  (Any equivalent qualification related to supply chain or procurement will be considered)

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years of relevant experience in purchase/procurement

• Experience in Packaging or Ink industry will be preferred

• Exposure to Import & Export purchasing is an added advantage

• Local candidates from Vadodara or nearby areas will be given first priority

Skills Required:

• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills

• Good coordination and communication abilities

• Knowledge of material planning and inventory control

• Familiarity with ERP / purchase software

• Cost analysis and budgeting knowledge
