Role Overview

The Purchase Executive (Field) will be responsible for sourcing materials, visiting vendors/suppliers, negotiating pricing, ensuring timely delivery, and supporting the procurement needs of real estate projects. The role requires an active field presence, strong vendor coordination skills, and the ability to handle site-level purchase requirements efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Procurement & Sourcing

• Visit vendors, suppliers, hardware stores, and markets to source materials.

• Conduct price assessments, compare quotations, and prepare purchase proposals.

• Identify new vendors and maintain an updated vendor database.

• Ensure purchase activities adhere to company standards and budget.

2. Vendor Coordination

• Coordinate with vendors for timely material delivery to sites.

• Negotiate pricing, quality, and delivery timelines.

• Resolve supplier issues, delays, or discrepancies.

3. Material Management

• Coordinate with site engineers for material requirements.

• Ensure correct materials are procured as per project specifications.

• Perform quality checks of purchased items before sending to site.

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Collect bills, delivery challans, and maintain purchase records.

• Submit daily/weekly purchase reports to the Purchase Manager.

• Maintain transparency in transactions and follow company procurement policies.

5. Field Responsibilities

• Frequent travel to markets, suppliers, and project sites.

• Carry out urgent and unplanned purchases as required.

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation skills.

• Knowledge of local hardware/material suppliers.

• Ability to handle field tasks independently.

• Good understanding of building materials, construction items, and real estate procurement.

• Basic computer knowledge (MS Office preferred).

Eligibility Criteria

• Male candidate only.

• 2–3 years experience in procurement (real estate/construction preferred).

• Two-wheeler with valid driving license preferred.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
