•Job Description: Operations Manager•
Position Overview
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall day-to-day functioning of the centre. This includes ensuring smooth delivery of services, managing staff, maintaining operational standards, and enhancing the student experience. The role plays a key part in quality control, administration, and adherence to Aptech/Lakmé Academy guidelines.
Key Responsibilities
1. Centre Operations & Administration
• Oversee daily centre operations and ensure seamless functioning across all departments.
• Implement operational policies in alignment with Aptech & Lakmé Academy standards.
• Monitor front-desk activities, student walk-ins, and query handling.
• Ensure the centre environment is clean, organised, and follows brand guidelines.
2. Student Management
• Oversee student onboarding, documentation, and fee collection.
• Address student issues, complaints, and service-related concerns promptly.
• Monitor student attendance, academic performance, and course progress.
• Maintain high levels of student satisfaction and service quality.
3. Staff Supervision
• Manage trainers, counsellors, front-office staff, and support teams.
• Prepare staff schedules, monitor discipline, and manage performance.
• Conduct team briefings, performance reviews, and arrange training when required.
4. Sales & Business Growth
• Track enquiries, walk-ins, conversions, and support the admissions team.
• Build local partnerships to support enrolments, internships, and placement activities.
5. Reporting & Compliance
• Maintain MIS reports for admissions, revenue, attendance, inventory, and operations.
• Ensure compliance with Aptech & Lakmé Academy operational and quality standards.
• Monitor fee collection, deposits, and petty cash handling.
• Coordinate audits, centre inspections, and ensure accuracy of documentation.
6. Centre Maintenance & Inventory
• Manage inventory of beauty products, tools, consumables, and training materials.
• Coordinate with vendors for procurement, repairs, and maintenance.
• Ensure all equipment is functional, safe, and maintained regularly.

Qualifications & Experience
• Graduate in any field; MBA preferred
• 1–6 years of experience in operations, administration, or centre management
• Experience in training institutes, salons, or beauty academies is an added advantage
