About the Role
The Operations Executive plays a key role in overseeing daily field operations, managing manpower, and ensuring that all waste collection and transportation activities are executed smoothly and on time. The role requires strong coordination, field supervision, and operational reporting skills, along with the ability to handle multiple teams of drivers, helpers, and field supervisors.
The ideal candidate should be a hands-on, field-oriented professional capable of managing day-to-day logistics, manpower deployment, and coordination with local authorities and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Mark and maintain daily attendance of drivers, helpers, and field staff.
Assign wards, routes, and areas to field teams as per the daily operational schedule.
Manage daily manpower deployment and ensure all staff and vehicles are available and functional.
Conduct regular field visits to monitor operations, route adherence, and staff performance.
Supervise waste collection and transportation activities, ensuring timely and efficient execution.
Handle on-ground issues such as absenteeism, vehicle breakdowns, or manpower shortages.
Coordinate with government officials (Parshads, Sanitary Inspectors, Chief Sanitary Inspectors) for
daily operations and issue resolution.
Prepare and share daily operational reports on attendance, route completion, and vehicle movement
with the management team.
Monitor vehicle utilization, fuel tracking, and cleanliness of collection vehicles.
Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety, and hygiene standards during waste collection and handling.
Address and resolve complaints received from citizens, authorities, or field staff promptly.
Support Site In-Charge / Project Manager in planning manpower and route schedules.
Maintain and update MIS data, dashboards, and documentation related to field operations.
Ensure discipline, punctuality, and proper behavior among field teams.
Assist in training new drivers and helpers on operational procedures and safety guidelines.
Coordinate with HR, Fleet, and Maintenance teams for attendance, vehicle issues, and manpower
replacements.
Participate in periodic performance reviews and operational audits.
Eligibility Criteria
Education: Minimum Graduate (any stream).
Experience: 2–4 years in Operations / Logistics / Waste Management / Facility Management.
Computer Skills: Basic to intermediate knowledge of MS Excel, Google Sheets, and reporting tools.
Other Requirements:
o Must be field-oriented and comfortable with on-ground supervision.
o Should have a two-wheeler and a valid driving license.
o Good communication and interpersonal skills (local language proficiency preferred).
