JOB DESCRIPTION FOR MIS MANAGERPosition Title: MIS ManagerDepartment: Accounts & Finance / Management Information SystemsExperience: 8 – 15 years in MIS reporting, data analysis, and business intelligenceSalary: ₹40,000 – ₹50,000 per monthReports To: DirectorLocation: Head Office – GurgaonEmployment Type: Full-timeAge: 30years and aboveRole Overview:The MIS Manager is responsible for collecting, maintaining, and analyzing all production and cost-related data to support effective decision-making. This role focuses on generating accurate and timely MIS reports related to sponge and billet production, coal consumption, costing, and other key metrics. The MIS Manager ensures data integrity, prepares performance dashboards, and provides valuable insights for management to optimize production efficiency and cost control.Key Responsibilities:1. Production Data Management· Record and maintain daily production data across all units.· Reconcile actual production data with planned or budgeted figures.· Track and report sponge and billet production volumes.· Maintain detailed records of raw material usage and output efficiency.2. Cost Tracking & Analysis· Record and monitor coal cost and other key production costs.· Support the preparation of costing reports for sponge, billet, and other production units.· Assist in variance analysis between budgeted and actual costs.3. MIS Reporting & Analytics· Generate regular MIS reports for management review, including production, consumption, and cost data.· Use Excel and data analysis tools to prepare dashboards, charts, and visual insights.· Highlight deviations, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities based on data trends.Key Deliverables:· Daily/Monthly Production MIS· Sponge & Billet Production Cost Reports· Coal Consumption & Costing Report· Variance Analysis ReportsSkills & Qualifications:· Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Science, or Engineering· 8-15 years of experience in MIS, production reporting, or data analysis· Strong skills in MS Excel, data analysis, and costing· Familiarity with production environments (preferably in steel, manufacturing, or similar sectors)· Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
