Responsibilities
Data management and analysis
Report generation: Generate regular (daily, weekly, monthly) and ad-hoc reports for senior management, creating clear dashboards and data visualizations using tools like Microsoft Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
Automation: Automate repetitive reporting tasks and create dashboards using advanced Excel features (macros, VBA) and other business intelligence (BI) tools.
System maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot issues related to MIS systems and databases, ensuring their optimal performance.
Cross-functional collaboration: Work with different departments to understand their specific data and reporting needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
Security and compliance: Implement data security protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant data protection policies and regulations.
Skills and qualifications
Technical skills
Advanced proficiency in MS Excel: Strong knowledge of functions like VLOOKUP, pivot tables and data validation.
Database management: Experience with database systems like SQL.
Data visualization tools: Familiarity with tools such as Power BI and Tableau.
BI and reporting tools: Knowledge of various MIS and Business Intelligence platforms.
Systems knowledge: General understanding of IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networks.
