Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Data Entry Operator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining data in our systems and databases. The role requires strong typing skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter and update data accurately into computer systems and databases.

• Verify data for accuracy and completeness before entering it into the system.

• Review and correct data entry errors submitted by staff.

• Maintain data confidentiality and security.

• Perform regular backups to ensure data preservation.

• Retrieve data from databases or electronic files as requested.

• Generate reports and summaries based on entered data.

• Scan and organize physical documents for digital entry (if applicable).

• Assist with administrative tasks and other duties as needed.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional computer training or certification is a plus.

• Proven experience as a data entry operator, typist, or similar position.

• Fast typing skills with a minimum typing speed of [50-60] WPM.

• Excellent knowledge of word processing tools and spreadsheets (MS Office Word, Excel, etc.).

• Basic understanding of databases and CRM systems.

• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Good command of English, both written and verbal.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience in a similar data entry or clerical role.

• Familiarity with office equipment like printers and scanners.

• Knowledge of administrative and office procedures.
