We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Leader to oversee and guide our Data Entry team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a keen eye for detail, and a proven ability to manage data integrity and team performance. You will be responsible for ensuring our data entry processes are efficient, accurate, and aligned with company standards.
Key responsibilities
Team management and leadership:
Supervise and lead the daily activities of the data entry team, including assigning tasks, setting priorities, and managing workloads to meet deadlines.
Provide training, coaching, and mentorship to new and existing team members to ensure they adhere to company procedures and best practices.
Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues in a timely manner.
Foster a positive and collaborative team environment that promotes accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
Data quality and process optimization:
Perform regular quality checks and audits on entered data to identify and correct errors and inconsistencies.
Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data entry to enhance productivity and quality.
Work with other departments to resolve data-related issues and streamline data workflows.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement new strategies to increase accuracy and efficiency.
Reporting and administration:
Monitor and report on key performance metrics, such as accuracy rates and data volume, to senior management.
Generate regular reports, spreadsheets, and documents as requested.
Maintain the confidentiality and security of sensitive company and customer information.
Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new data entry staff, working closely with Human Resources.
Required qualifications and skills
Experience: Proven experience (1-3+ years) in a data entry or similar role, with at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead position.
Technical skills: High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel), database systems, and other data entry software.
Attention to detail: An exceptional eye for detail and a strong commitment to accuracy.
Organizational skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively train team members and coordinate with other departments.
Leadership ability: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage a team to achieve high performance and accuracy.
