Job Summary:
The Billing Executive is responsible for managing patient billing processes for both Inpatient (IPD) and Outpatient (OPD) departments. This role involves ensuring accurate billing, handling payments, coordinating with internal departments, and maintaining complete documentation while delivering excellent service to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle patient billing and invoicing for IPD & OPD.
Ensure accurate calculation of patient bills, insurance claims, and settlements.
Maintain proper billing records and documentation as per hospital standards.
Coordinate with Front Office, Nursing, TPA, and Finance departments for smooth work flow.
Address and resolve patient queries related to billing and payments.
Process cash, card, UPI, and insurance payments and prepare daily collection reports.
Maintain confidentiality and billing accuracy in compliance with hospital policies.
Assist in patient admission and discharge procedures when required.
Support front desk operations to ensure customer satisfaction and service quality.
Key Skills & Requirements:
Education: Graduate (preferably in Commerce or Health-care Management).
Experience: 2–5 years in hospital billing or front office operations.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in hospital billing software and MS Office applications.
Familiarity with TPA/Insurance billing processes (preferred).
