Key Responsibilities:
1. Tender Management (Online & Offline)
Identify relevant tenders for cables, wires, and electrical products across government and PSU portals such as Army, Navy, Air Force, Ordnance Factories, Coal & Mining organizations, BHEL, NTPC, EIL, IOCL, ISRO, AAI, Refineries, Energy sectors, etc.
Study tender documents, technical specifications, BOQs, and eligibility criteria.
Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Technical, Finance) for preparing tender proposals.
Prepare and submit bids on online e-tendering platforms (GeM, CPPP, e-procurement portals).
Handle E-bidding, Reverse Auctions, and online price negotiations.
2. Vendor Registration / Approval / Revalidation
Manage end-to-end vendor registration with all government departments, PSUs, and EPC clients.
Ensure timely renewal, revalidation, and updating of vendor credentials and compliance documents.
Maintain a complete database of registrations, approvals, and expiry timelines.
3. Pre-Bid & Client Coordination
Attend Pre-Bid Meetings physically or online to clarify technical and commercial requirements.
Communicate with tendering authorities for clarifications, corrigendum, amendments, and updates.
4. Documentation & Compliance
Prepare and maintain documents such as technical datasheets, financial papers, authorization letters, performance certificates, and statutory documents required for tender submissions.
Ensure all documents meet the technical standards relevant to the cable and wire industry (IS/IEC specifications).
5. Project Follow-Up & Tracking
Track tender status from submission to award.
Follow up on LOAs, PO generation, contract signing, and other project stages until completion.
Maintain MIS reports for tender pipeline, bid status, win/loss ratio, and upcoming opportunities.
6. Market & Competitor Insights
Monitor industry trends, competitor pricing, and demand patterns in government procurement for cables & wires.
Provide inputs to management for pricing strategies and business planning.
