Job Description

Design House India Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced Project Manager – Interior Fit-Out & Site Execution to independently manage Retail Showrooms, Corporate Interiors and Turnkey Commercial Interior Projects from site handover to final completion.

The candidate must have strong practical experience in on-site execution, drawings, measurements, BOQ understanding, manpower and vendor management, material planning, quality control and client coordination.

This is primarily a site execution and project management role, not a desk-based planning position.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of interior fit-out and turnkey projects.

• Take complete ownership of assigned sites from site handover to final client handover.

• Conduct site surveys, measurements and site feasibility checks.

• Read and understand AutoCAD drawings, working drawings, BOQs and specifications.

• Plan project activities according to approved drawings and timelines.

• Prepare and monitor daily/weekly execution schedules.

• Coordinate civil, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, false ceiling, flooring, painting, signage and other interior works.

• Manage contractors, vendors, supervisors and site manpower.

• Plan material requirements and ensure timely material availability at site.

• Coordinate with purchase, production, design and accounts teams.

• Monitor workmanship and ensure execution as per approved drawings and specifications.

• Conduct regular quality checks and minimize rework.

• Coordinate with clients, architects, consultants, mall/site management and other stakeholders.

• Provide daily progress updates and highlight delays or dependencies immediately.

• Monitor project costs, material consumption and wastage.

• Verify contractor/vendor work quantities and measurements.

• Manage site safety, discipline and housekeeping.

• Prepare snag lists and ensure timely snag closure.

• Complete documentation and successfully manage final project handover.

Must-Have Experience

Candidates should have hands-on project execution experience in:

Retail Fit-Out | Showroom Interiors | Corporate Interiors | Commercial Interiors | Turnkey Interior Projects

Preference will be given to candidates who have independently handled multiple interior sites/projects and are familiar with fast-track retail execution.

Qualification

B.Tech / B.E. / Diploma in Civil Engineering

Candidates with strong relevant Interior Fit-Out execution experience may be considered based on their overall profile.

We need a hands-on Project Manager who can identify site problems quickly, take ownership and ensure that projects are completed with the required quality, cost control and timelines.

Compensation & Benefits

₹55,000 – ₹75,000 CTC per month + Project Performance Incentive

Final compensation will depend upon relevant fit-out experience, complexity/value of projects handled and ability to independently manage multiple sites.

Travelling/site visits will be required depending upon project location.
