• Project management:

  Oversee daily on-site activities for construction projects like buildings, roads, or bridges, ensuring they are completed safely, on time, and within budget. 

• Compliance and quality:

  Ensure all work adheres to project plans, specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards. 

• Coordination:

  Liaise with project managers, architects, clients, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operation and efficient resource allocation. 

• Reporting and documentation:

  Prepare and submit progress reports, and maintain technical files and other necessary documentation. 

• Problem-solving:

  Identify and resolve on-site issues, technical difficulties, and deficiencies as they arise. 

• Budget and resource management:

  Monitor project budgets, manage resources, and negotiate with vendors for materials and equipment. 

• Site inspections:

  Conduct site inspections to verify that work is being carried out correctly and in line with the design.

• Technical knowledge:

  A degree in Civil Engineering and strong technical skills to understand project plans and solve problems. 

• Leadership:

  Ability to supervise construction personnel and manage teams effectively. 

• Communication:

  Strong communication skills for liaising with various stakeholders, from clients to on-site crews. 

• Organizational skills:

  Ability to manage multiple tasks, coordinate logistics, and maintain organization on a busy construction site.
