Key Responsibilities
• Develop detailed 2D/3D drawings and production-ready files using CAD/CAM software
• Create CNC-compatible programs, tool paths, nesting layouts and cut lists
• Coordinate with Production, Carpentry, CNC Operators and Quality teams for design clarity
• Conduct on-site measurements and convert them into accurate design drafts
• Modify drawings as per client requirements, material specifications and project constraints
• Prepare complete BOM, hardware list, fabrication drawings and assembly details
• Optimize material usage to reduce wastage and improve production efficiency
• Maintain proper documentation, version control and job tracking for all design files
• Support trial runs, prototyping and issue resolution during manufacturing
• Ensure adherence to Maanavi Homes LLP’s quality, safety and operational standards
Candidate Requirements
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Furniture Design, Interior Design or related field
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks or equivalent design tools
• Hands-on experience in CAM software such as Carve, Alpha CAM, Art CAM, or similar
• Understanding of wood, MDF, metal, acrylic and other fabrication materials
• Knowledge of joinery systems, hardware fittings, CNC operations and carpentry processes
• Ability to read, interpret and prepare technical drawings with high accuracy
• Strong coordination skills with production teams and ability to meet deadlines
