Job Description:

We are currently seeking a Junior Designer to support our design team in executing layout plans and backend work for home interior projects. This role is ideal for someone detail-oriented and technically sound in drafting and design documentation. You will be responsible for converting concepts into accurate and efficient floor plans and technical layouts, ensuring alignment with client and design team requirements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Layout Development: Create and draft detailed 2D and 3D layout plans for home interiors including furniture placement, electrical points, and modular setup.

Technical Documentation:

Support senior designers by preparing accurate working drawings, design documentation, and interior detailing for execution teams.

Software Handling:

Use tools like AutoCAD, SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, and Enscape for developing and refining designs.

Design Coordination:

Coordinate with the design and execution teams to ensure all technical specifications are met.

Quality Checks:

Ensure all designs meet company standards for accuracy, feasibility, and design intent.

Revisions & Updates:

Incorporate feedback from the team and update layouts and design files accordingly.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.

1–2 years of experience in layout drafting and technical backend work.

Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, SketchUp Layout, and Enscape.

Detail-oriented with strong spatial awareness.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills for internal coordination.

Eagerness to learn and grow within a collaborative team setting.
