Job Title: Interior Designer

Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Interior Designer to plan, design, and manage interior spaces that are functional, safe, and visually appealing. The Interior Designer will work closely with clients to understand their needs and translate them into innovative design solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to understand requirements, preferences, budget, and timeline

• Develop design concepts, layouts, mood boards, and space plans

• Prepare drawings, 3D visuals, and presentations

• Select materials, furniture, lighting, color schemes, and finishes

• Coordinate with architects, contractors, vendors, and suppliers

• Ensure designs comply with building codes, safety standards, and regulations

• Manage project timelines, site visits, and quality checks

• Revise designs based on client feedback and project constraints

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Diploma in Interior Design or a related field

• Strong creativity and design sense

• Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, 3ds Max, Revit, or similar)

• Good understanding of materials, lighting, and space planning

• Strong communication and presentation skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills (Optional)

• Experience in residential or commercial interior projects

• Knowledge of sustainable or eco-friendly design practices

• Basic understanding of costing and budgeting

Experience

• Fresher / 1–3 years / Senior level (adjust as required)
