Job Title: Interior Designer

Department: Design & Execution
Reporting To: Design Head / Principal Designer
Location: NCR & Outstation (Site Visits Required)
Employment Type: Full-Time

Qualification : Degree /Diploma in Interior Design / Architecture

Skills & Competencies Required

• Proficient in AutoCAD for residential layouts and detailed working drawings

• Strong knowledge of 3D visualization using 3ds Max / SketchUp

• Excellent understanding of residential space planning, ergonomics, and functionality

• In-depth knowledge of materials, finishes, modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture, and lighting

• Ability to design living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes, and balconies

• Strong understanding of client lifestyle, taste, and budget-based customization

• Ability to take accurate site measurements and resolve site constraints

• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, false ceiling, and lighting layouts

• Strong client handling, presentation, and communication skills

• Effective coordination with contractors, vendors, carpenters, and site teams

Roles & Responsibilities

• Meet residential clients to understand design requirements, lifestyle needs, budgets, and timelines

• Prepare concept designs, space plans, and mood boards

• Develop 2D layouts, working drawings, and detailed drawings using AutoCAD

• Create 3D views and walkthroughs for residential interiors

• Finalize materials, finishes, color schemes, furniture, lighting, and décor elements

• Present and explain design concepts and drawings to clients

• Coordinate with execution teams, vendors, and contractors for smooth project execution

• Conduct regular site visits (NCR & Outstation) to ensure execution as per approved drawings

• Handle client feedback, revisions, and design modifications

• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and budgets

• Maintain complete design documentation, revisions, and approval records

2. Client Satisfaction – Positive experience from concept to handover

3. Execution Accuracy – Minimum site issues due to clear drawings

6. Documentation Control – Accurate and updated drawing records
