Job Title: Junior Interior Designer

Department: Design & Execution
Reporting To: Senior Interior Designer
Location: NCR & Outstation (Site Visits Required)

Qualification: Degree/Diploma in Interior Design/ Architecture

Skills & Competencies Required

• Proficient in AutoCAD for 2D layouts and detailed working drawings

• Strong command of SketchUp for concept development and quick visualization

• Good understanding of interior detailing, materials, and finishes

• Ability to take accurate site measurements and convert them into drawings

• Ability to read, interpret, and prepare technical drawings

• Basic knowledge of lighting design and space planning

• Strong visualization, presentation, and communication skills

• Effective coordination with execution teams, contractors, and site staff

• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist in client meetings to understand design requirements, budgets, and timelines

• Develop concept designs, layouts, mood boards, and presentations

• Prepare 2D layouts and working drawings using AutoCAD

• Create 3D models, views, and walkthroughs using SketchUp

• Support in selection of materials, finishes, furniture, lighting, and color schemes

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and site execution teams

• Conduct site visits (NCR & Outstation) to ensure execution as per approved drawings

• Make design modifications and revisions based on client or senior feedback

• Ensure assigned tasks are completed within defined timelines

• Maintain proper documentation, drawings, revisions, and approvals

   • Deliver accurate and error-free 2D and 3D drawings

   • Effectively translate concepts into visual designs

   • Provide clear drawings and details to avoid execution issues

   • Complete assigned design tasks within committed timelines

5. Feedback Implementation

   • Incorporate client and senior feedback efficiently

6. Documentation Control

   • Maintain updated drawings, revisions, and records systematically

• Drawing Accuracy Rate: Percentage of drawings approved without rework

• Timely Delivery Ratio: Designs delivered as per agreed deadlines

• Revision Turnaround Time: Speed of incorporating feedback and revisions

• Site Coordination Effectiveness: Reduction in execution errors due to drawings

• Design Quality Score: Feedback from senior designers and clients

• Skill Improvement Index: Growth in AutoCAD, 3ds Max, and SketchUp proficiency
