Key Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

• Develop creative design concepts for commercial interiors aligned with client requirements.

• Prepare mood boards, material boards, and 3D visualizations.

• Create detailed floor plans, furniture layouts, and reflected ceiling plans.

Technical Drawings & Documentation

• Develop AutoCAD drawings including sections, elevations, joinery details, and MEP coordination layouts.

• Prepare BOQs, material specifications, and design documentation.

Client Interaction

• Conduct site visits, gather requirements, and translate them into functional design solutions.

• Present design concepts to clients and incorporate feedback effectively.

Project Coordination

• Coordinate with project managers, contractors, and vendors to ensure design execution.

• Monitor work progress at site to ensure adherence to design standards and timelines.

• Assist in quality checks during material selection and installation.

Material & Vendor Management

• Source materials, finishes, furniture, and lighting as per design requirements.

• Liaise with vendors for samples, pricing, and technical details.

Required Skills & Competencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, and other design tools.

• Strong understanding of materials, lighting, and commercial interior standards.

• Good communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s / Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.

• 2–5 years of experience in commercial interior design (coworking, office fit-outs preferred).

• Experience in end-to-end design execution is an added advantage.
