Job Title: Interior Design Intern

About the Role

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Interior Design Intern to join our team. This internship offers hands-on experience in residential and commercial interior design projects, allowing candidates to learn industry practices while working alongside experienced designers.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in creating design concepts, mood boards, and presentations.

• Support the team in preparing 2D layouts and space planning drawings.

• Create and modify designs using AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or similar software.

• Assist in material selection, furniture selection, and color coordination.

• Conduct market research on design trends, materials, and furnishings.

• Visit project sites when required and assist in site measurements.

• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material sourcing.

• Help prepare client presentations and design documentation.

• Maintain project files and design records.

Requirements

• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.

• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, or other design software.

• Good understanding of space planning, color schemes, and design principles.

• Creative mindset with attention to detail.

• Strong communication and presentation skills.

• Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of 3D visualization and rendering software.

• Ability to create mood boards and concept presentations.

• Understanding of residential and commercial interior design projects.
