Key Responsibilities
Design furniture such as chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, wardrobes, and office furniture.
Develop sketches, 2D drawings, and 3D models using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, SolidWorks, Rhino, or Fusion 360).
Select appropriate materials, finishes, fabrics, and hardware.
Prepare detailed technical drawings and production specifications.
Create prototypes and modify designs based on testing and feedback.
Collaborate with production teams to ensure designs can be manufactured efficiently.
Research market trends, customer preferences, and new materials.
Ensure products meet quality, safety, and ergonomic standards.
Estimate production costs and optimize designs for cost-effective manufacturing.
Support product development from concept to final production.
Required Skills
