Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented Furniture Designer with strong AutoCAD skills to join our team in New Delhi.

The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate loose furniture shop drawings, technical details, material specifications, and production-ready drawings for high-end residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings for loose furniture.

• Develop furniture shop drawings and production-ready drawings.

• Prepare detailed joinery and construction drawings.

• Specify furniture materials, finishes, hardware, and dimensions.

• Understand furniture construction methods and manufacturing requirements.

• Coordinate with interior designers, vendors, contractors, and production teams.

• Review drawings for accuracy, dimensions, detailing, and constructability.

• Make revisions based on design and site requirements.

• Ensure drawings meet project specifications and quality standards.

• Assist in resolving technical and furniture detailing issues during production.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.

• Good understanding of furniture construction and joinery details.

• Knowledge of furniture materials, hardware, finishes, and manufacturing processes.

• Ability to interpret interior design drawings and convert concepts into detailed furniture drawings.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Good understanding of dimensions, measurements, and technical specifications.

• Ability to coordinate with vendors and production teams.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Furniture Design, Architecture, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in furniture designing/drafting, preferably for high-end residential projects.

• Candidates with experience in loose furniture shop drawings will be preferred.

• Strong AutoCAD drafting and technical detailing skills.

• Good communication and coordination skills.
