Job Description for Senior Draftsman / Architect

Job Title: Senior Draftsman / Architect (Civil & Structural)
Location: Sector 30, Gurgaon
Salary: Up to ₹45,000 per month (Based on experience)
Job Description:
VK and Sons Buildwell is looking for a skilled and experienced Senior Draftsman / Architect who has strong knowledge of architectural design, structural drawings, and civil site construction. The candidate should be capable of handling projects from scratch design stage to site execution.
Key Responsibilities:
· Prepare detailed architectural and structural drawings using AutoCAD or relevant software.
· Develop building plans, elevations, sections, and working drawings from scratch.
· Coordinate with civil engineers, contractors, and site teams to ensure design accuracy.
· Visit construction sites to monitor progress and ensure drawings are implemented correctly.
· Prepare GFC drawings, BOQ support drawings, and revisions as required.
· Ensure compliance with local building by-laws and construction standards.
· Assist in project planning, material coordination, and technical support to site teams.
Required Skills:
· Strong knowledge of AutoCAD (mandatory).
· Good understanding of architectural planning, structural details, and civil construction methods.
· Ability to create complete drawing sets from concept to execution.
· Knowledge of site measurements, layout marking, and construction drawings.
· Good communication and coordination skills.
Experience:
· Minimum 5–12 years’ experience in architectural drafting / civil construction projects.
Education:
· Diploma / Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Draftsmanship.
Preferred Candidate: Candidate with site experience along with drafting knowledge will be preferred.
