Medigence Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a specialised healthcare consulting firm with a dedicated Hospital Planning & Design vertical that has shaped some of India's most complex healthcare infrastructure projects— from concept and master planning through architectural drawings, interior coordination, and MEP integration.
With 125+ completed projects spanning 2 crore+ sq ft of designed space, our portfolio is equally split across two domains — 50% healthcare and 50% non-healthcare. Healthcare projects are led by Medigence Solutions, while non-healthcare projects — spanning commercial,resorts, villas, institutional, and mixed-use developments — are managed under our sister company, Levitant Global Design.
As a draftsman joining our team, you will have the opportunity to work across both companies — gaining exposure to the full breadth of our project pipeline, from NABH and NMC-compliant hospital design to large-scale non-healthcare builds managed under Levitant.
We work at the intersection of functionality and design excellence — every drawing we produce is not just a floor plan, it is a clinical workflow or a human experience. Our team operates under strict compliance frameworks, which means our draftsmen are expected to understand the "why" behind every line, not just draw it.
Roles and Responsibilities:
1. Preparation of Interior Working Drawings
● Prepare detailed interior working drawings based on design concepts and instructions from interior designers/architects.
● Draft:
o Furniture layouts
o Partition layouts
o Flooring layouts
o False ceiling layouts
o Electrical layouts
o Lighting layouts
o Wall elevation details
o Joinery details
o Toilet and kitchen details
2. CAD / BIM Drafting
● Prepare and update drawings using:
o AutoCAD
o Basic Sketchup
● Develop detailed joinery drawings with dimensions and material specifications.
4. Material & Finish Documentation
● Assist in preparation of:
o Material boards
o Finish schedules
o Furniture schedules
o Hardware schedules
o Door and partition details
● Coordinate material specifications with design intent.
5. Coordination with Consultants & Vendors
● Coordinate with:
o Interior designers
o Architects
o MEP consultants
o Furniture vendors
o Contractors and fabricators
● Incorporate site measurements and vendor requirements into drawings.
6. Site Coordination & Measurement
● Conduct site visits for measurements and verification.
● Update drawings as per actual site conditions.
● Resolve execution issues through revised detailing.
7. Good for Construction (GFC) Drawings
● Prepare GFC interior drawings for execution teams.
● Issue revised drawings and maintain revision records.
● Ensure drawings are clear for contractor execution.
8. Quantity & BOQ Support
● Assist in quantity take-offs for:
o Furniture
o Finishes
o Ceiling areas
o Flooring quantities
o Wall finishes
● Support BOQ preparation for interiors.
Key Skills Required
● Strong interior detailing knowledge
● Furniture and joinery drafting skills
● Understanding of materials, finishes, and hardware
● Knowledge of construction and execution methodology
● Attention to detail and coordination skills
● Time management and revision handling
Qualification:
● Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field.
● Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar.
● Strong understanding of building codes, regulations, and construction methods.
● Excellent spatial awareness and attention to detail.
● Strong communication and teamwork skills.
● Experience in commercial or residential design projects is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
● Knowledge of lighting design principles and integration.
● Experience with project management and client relations.
● Familiarity with sustainable design practices and materials.
