We are seeking a detail-oriented Architectural Draftsman to prepare accurate technical drawings and plans for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with architects and engineers to translate design concepts into precise construction documents.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare architectural drawings, blueprints, and layouts using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools
Convert sketches, specifications, and calculations into detailed drawings
Revise drawings based on feedback from architects and project managers
Ensure all drawings comply with local building codes and regulations
Coordinate with structural, electrical, and plumbing teams
Maintain organized records of drawings and revisions
Assist in site visits and measurements when required
Create 2D and 3D models and renderings for presentations

Required Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Architecture, Drafting, or a related field
Proven experience as an architectural draftsman or similar role
Proficiency in CAD and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit)
Strong understanding of architectural principles and construction methods
Knowledge of building codes and standards
High attention to detail and accuracy

Preferred Skills

Experience with 3D modeling tools like SketchUp or 3ds Max
Basic knowledge of Building Information Modeling
Good communication and teamwork skills
Time management and ability to meet deadlines
