Job Description: Civil Engineer – Interior & Renovation Projects

Location: Delhi NCR — Office and Project Sites
Qualification: B.Tech/B.E. in Civil Engineering
Experience: Preferably 3–5 years in interior fit-out, renovation, or civil site execution

About the Role

Space Freak Pvt. Ltd., an interior design and renovation company, is looking for a Civil Engineer to manage site execution and ensure projects meet approved drawings, quality standards, budgets, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise civil and interior works, including masonry, plastering, waterproofing, flooring, tiling, and finishing.

• Read working drawings and coordinate with interior designers to ensure accurate execution.

• Conduct site surveys, take measurements, and prepare quantity estimates, BOQs, and material requirements.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and labour teams to maintain daily work progress.

• Plan work schedules and monitor project timelines.

• Check workmanship, material quality, and compliance with approved specifications.

• Coordinate civil work with plumbing, electrical, carpentry, false ceiling, and other interior activities.

• Verify contractor measurements, bills, and completed work.

• Track material consumption, control wastage, and maintain site records.

• Submit progress reports with site photographs and highlight issues requiring decisions.

• Follow site safety practices and resolve execution issues promptly.

• Prepare snag lists and ensure rectification before project handover.

Required Skills

• Practical knowledge of civil construction, interior finishing, and renovation work.

• Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and use MS Excel.

• Knowledge of estimation, quantity calculation, billing, and material specifications.

• Strong coordination, problem-solving, and communication skills.

• Willingness to travel between project sites.
