Civil draughtsman

Job Title: Draftsman – AutoCAD (Water Supply Projects)

Department: Engineering / Design
Location: Mumbai
Reporting To: Design Engineer / Project Manager

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman with strong knowledge of AutoCAD drafting and experience in water supply projects such as WTP, ESR, GSR, SWPS, and pipeline works. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate drawings, layouts, and technical documents as per project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed drawings using AutoCAD for:

  • Water Treatment Plants (WTP)

  • Elevated Storage Reservoirs (ESR)

  • Ground Storage Reservoirs (GSR)

  • Storm Water Pumping Stations (SWPS)

  • Water supply pipelines and related structures

• Develop plan, section, elevation, and structural drawings as per design inputs

• Modify and update drawings based on site conditions and engineer instructions

• Coordinate with design engineers, project team, and site staff

• Maintain proper drawing records and documentation

• Ensure drawings comply with project standards and specifications

• Prepare BOQ-related drawings when required

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of AutoCAD Drafting (2D is most important)

• Experience in water supply / civil infrastructure projects

• Understanding of WTP, ESR, GSR, SWPS drawings

• Knowledge of pipeline alignment and profiles

• Ability to read and interpret engineering designs

• Good communication and coordination skills

Qualification & Experience:

• ITI / Diploma in Civil Engineering or Draftsman course

• Minimum 1–3 years experience in water supply drafting (preferred)

• Experience in government/municipal water projects is an added advantage
