Job Purpose
To generate new business opportunities, manage customer enquiries, convert leads into orders, and achieve assigned sales targets through effective B2B sales and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
Handle enquiries received through phone, email, online portals, references, and other sources.
Generate new leads through Architects, Builders, Schools, Hospitals, Hotels, Trusts, Corporates, and Institutions.
Conduct cold calling, customer visits, meetings, and site visits to understand client requirements.
Promote and sell the company's modular furniture products and achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets.
Prepare and send quotations, catalogues, samples, and Performa Invoices to customers.
Follow up regularly with prospects and customers and convert enquiries into confirmed orders.
Negotiate with customers and coordinate for PO, advance payment, design approval, delivery, and installation.
Coordinate with Design, Production, Store, Accounts, and Installation teams for smooth execution of orders.
Maintain good relationships with clients, architects, builders, and other business partners.
Handle online sales enquiries wherever applicable.
Maintain daily records of enquiries, leads, meetings, follow-ups, quotations, and orders.
Prepare daily sales reports and regularly update the Business Development Head.
Obtain required written approvals and work completion certificates from clients/site owners.
Support tender identification, shortlisting, and documentation as required.
Required Skills
Good communication and negotiation skills.
Target-oriented and customer-focused approach.
Strong follow-up and lead conversion skills.
Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Email, and basic sales documentation.
Willingness to travel for client meetings and site visits.
Experience in B2B sales, modular furniture, interior, or related industry will be preferred.
