Job Overview

We are looking for Junior CAD Designers who are interested in building a long-term career in

engineering design. Initially, candidates will primarily work with AutoCAD 2D & 3D. Based on future

project requirements, candidates will also be trained and expected to work with other engineering

design and modelling tools.

Nature of Work

• AutoCAD 2D drafting and drawing preparation

• AutoCAD 3D modelling

• Scan / Point Cloud to CAD conversion

• Preparation of plans, layouts, sections and elevations

• Engineering drawing modifications and revisions

• Layer, dimension, annotation and drawing management

• 3D modelling based on engineering and project requirements

• Drawing and model quality checking

• Engineering documentation and project file management

• Work may involve Piping, Equipment, Structural, Architectural, Electrical, Supports and other

engineering disciplines

Future Engineering Tools

Candidates should be willing to learn and work with additional engineering software and tools in the

future based on company and project requirements. Training and project exposure may involve different

CAD, 3D modelling, BIM, point-cloud and engineering design platforms. Continuous learning and

adaptability to new engineering tools are important requirements for this position.

Candidate Requirements

• Basic to good knowledge of AutoCAD 2D & 3D

• Ability to understand basic engineering drawings

• Good attention to detail and accuracy

• Willingness to learn new engineering software and technologies

• Ability to follow project instructions and engineering standards

• Good communication and team coordination

• Freshers with suitable AutoCAD knowledge may apply
