Role Overview
We are looking for a skilled AutoCAD Designer to create detailed technical drawings and layouts for exhibition stalls, trade show booths, and event setups. The candidate should be able to convert design concepts into accurate working drawings for production and execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare 2D technical drawings and layouts of exhibition stalls using AutoCAD.
Develop detailed fabrication drawings, elevations, and sections.
Coordinate with 3D designers, project managers, and production teams.
Understand client requirements, booth size, and venue guidelines.
Modify drawings based on design revisions and site requirements.
Ensure drawings meet structural, electrical, and fabrication feasibility.
Maintain drawing records and project documentation.
Required Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D).
Basic understanding of exhibition stall fabrication and materials.
Knowledge of measurement, scale, and detailing.
Ability to read and interpret design briefs and layouts.
Good coordination and communication skills.
Attention to detail and deadline-oriented.
Preferred Skills:
Experience in exhibition, retail, or interior industry.
Basic knowledge of 3D software (SketchUp/3ds Max) is an advantage.
Understanding of on-site execution and production drawings.
Qualification:
Diploma / Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or related field.
Other Requirements
Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Ready to work on tight timelines before exhibitions.
