Understanding of medical gases:
Oxygen (O₂)
Nitrous Oxide (N₂O)
Medical Air
Vacuum
Carbon Dioxide (CO₂)
AGSS / WAGD systems
Copper pipe installation (medical-grade, degreased)
Brazing using silver alloy (minimum 15%)
Knowledge of:
Pipeline sizing and layout
Valve box assemblies
Zone valves and alarm systems
Terminal units and outlets
Pressure testing and leak testing
Purging and cleanliness procedures
Commissioning and validation processes
1– 30years experience (depending on role level)
Hospital construction or renovation projects
Installation, testing, and commissioning of MGP systems
Maintenance and fault diagnosis in live hospital environments
Strict adherence to:
Infection control protocols
Fire and safety regulations
Permit-to-work systems
Knowledge of risk assessment and method statements (RAMS)
Ability to work in critical care environments (OT, ICU, NICU)
Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
Ability to read and interpret drawings
Coordination with:

Hospital engineering teams
