Job Summary
The Senior Accounts Executive is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, ensuring statutory compliance, handling audits, and supporting management with accurate financial data and analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Maintain books of accounts (Journal entries, Ledger, Trial Balance)
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Handle GST, TDS, Income Tax returns and statutory compliances
Reconcile bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts
Supervise junior accountants and review their work
Coordinate with auditors during internal and statutory audits
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control
Handle fixed assets accounting and depreciation
Support management in financial decision-making
Skills & Competencies
Strong knowledge of accounting principles
Working knowledge of GST, TDS, and Income Tax
Proficiency in Tally, ERP, Excel, and accounting software
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication and team management skills
Educational Qualifications
B.Com / M.Com / CA-Inter / CMA-Inter preferred
Professional accounting certification is an added advantage
Experience
3–4 years of experience in accounting and finance roles
