AutoCAD Designer

1. Design Engineer:

Mehta Industry is looking for a Design Engineer with hands-on knowledge of SolidWorks to support product design, development, and detailing activities. The ideal candidate should be technically sound, detail-oriented, and capable of converting concepts into accurate engineering drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

 Create 2D & 3D models using SolidWorks

 Prepare detailed engineering drawings for manufacturing

 Modify and improve existing designs based on production feedback

 Coordinate with production and quality teams for design feasibility

 Ensure designs comply with technical specifications and industry standards

 Maintain design documentation and version control

 Support prototype development and testing activities

Required Skills & Qualifications:

 Diploma / BE / BTech in Mechanical Engineering or related field

 Strong working knowledge of SolidWorks (mandatory)

 Basic understanding of manufacturing processes (machining, fabrication, assembly)

 Knowledge of GD&T and engineering drawings

 Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

 Basic MS Office skills

 Good communication and teamwork skills

Preferred Skills:

 Experience in AutoCAD or other CAD tools

 Exposure to industrial machinery or mechanical components

 Internship or project experience in design engineering
