NPD (New Product Development) Manager

Responsibility

• Project Management:

• Overseeing the entire product development lifecycle.

• Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.

• Coordinating with cross-functional teams (R&D, marketing, manufacturing, etc.).

• Market Research:

• Conducting market analysis to identify customer needs and market trends.

• Identifying opportunities for new products or improvements to existing products.

• Idea Generation:

• Facilitating brainstorming sessions and idea generation workshops.

• Evaluating and selecting the most viable product ideas for development.

• Product Design and Development:

• Managing the design and development phases of new products.

• Collaborating with designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to develop product specifications.

• Testing and Validation:

• Overseeing product testing and validation processes.

• Ensuring products meet quality standards and regulatory requirements.

• Budget Management:

• Developing and managing budgets for new product development projects.

• Allocating resources effectively to ensure project success.

• Risk Management:

• Identifying and mitigating risks associated with product development.

• Developing contingency plans to address potential issues.

• Stakeholder Communication:

• Communicating progress and updates to stakeholders, including senior management.

• Gathering feedback and making necessary adjustments to the development process.
