About Us

We are an established manufacturing company specializing in the design and production of high-quality sanitation and agricultural equipment, including heavy-duty sewer suction and jetting machines. We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Design Engineer / 3D CAD Specialist to lead our product modeling, structural layout design, and manufacturing documentation.

Position Summary

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models and 2D fabrication drawings for truck-mounted sewer suction tanks, sub-frames, piping, and hydraulic systems. You will bridge the gap between initial design concepts and the shop floor, ensuring that all equipment is structurally sound, safe, and optimized for manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities

3D Modeling & Assembly: Develop comprehensive 3D models of sewer suction tanks, chassis sub-frames, vacuum pump assemblies, and hydraulic tipping mechanisms using SolidWorks, Autodesk Inventor, or Fusion 360.

Sheet Metal & Structural Design: Design cylindrical pressure-vacuum tanks, internal baffle plates, cowlings, and heavy structural steel weldments.

Manufacturing & Fabrication Drawings: Generate precise 2D production blueprints, bill of materials (BOM), cutting layouts, and assembly instructions for the shop floor.

System Integration: Coordinate the layout of pneumatic lines, vacuum systems, PTO drives, and hydraulic circuits onto commercial vehicle chassis.

Engineering Calculations: Ensure proper weight distribution, center-of-gravity placement, and structural integrity for vehicle-mounted equipment.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with production managers and fabrication teams to resolve design bottlenecks and support new product development.
