The AutoCAD Civil Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD and related software. The role supports engineers and project teams in the development of infrastructure, roads, utilities, and structural works in compliance with project specifications, standards, and local authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and develop civil engineering drawings using AutoCAD / 3D.

• Produce layouts, plans, sections, profiles, and detailed drawings for roads, drainage, utilities, grading, and structures.

• Modify and revise drawings based on engineer’s instructions, design changes, and site conditions.

• Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP teams to ensure drawing consistency and accuracy.

• Review drawings for compliance with project standards, specifications, and applicable codes.

• Maintain organized drawing records and manage drawing revisions and document control.

• Assist in preparing as-built drawings based on site data and redline markups.

• Ensure timely submission of drawings in accordance with project schedules.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Civil Engineering Drafting or related field.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Civil 3D is an advantage.

• Strong understanding of civil engineering drawings, symbols, and standards.

• Familiarity with roads, infrastructure, drainage, and utility networks.

• Ability to read and interpret engineering design calculations and specifications.

• Good attention to detail and drafting accuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
