Architect – Job Description

Position: Architect
Experience: 2–6 Years
Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture / Interior Designing
Work Location: Bangalore
Employment Type: Full-Time Site

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Architect to join our design team. The candidate will be responsible for developing architectural drawings, 2D documentation, 3D models, renderings and construction documents while working closely with Project Managers, Supervisors and multidisciplinary design teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Convert sketches and initial architectural designs into detailed drawings using Revit and AutoCAD.

• Prepare accurate 2D architectural drawings and construction documents.

• Develop 3D models and photorealistic renderings in Revit.

• Accurately measure existing site/field conditions and prepare drawings in Revit and AutoCAD.

• Prepare conceptual plans, renderings and architectural documentation.

• Assist in completing project documentation packages for milestone submissions.

• Plan and develop project layouts and coordinate engineering elements into a unified design.

• Research and coordinate materials and products required for project specifications.

• Apply knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning/building codes and building materials.

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Principal/Senior Architects and other project stakeholders.

• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary design teams.

• Assist in reviewing and checking drawings and specification documents during Conceptual, Schematic and Detailed Design phases.

• Maintain accuracy, quality and consistency across project drawings and documentation.

Required Technical Skills

• Revit – Mandatory

• Lumion

• 3D Walkthrough – Added Advantage

• Microsoft Word

• Microsoft Excel

Strong proficiency in Revit, including 3D modelling and 2D annotation tools, is a necessity.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Architecture / Interior Designing.

• 2–6 years of relevant experience in an architectural office or related field.

• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and documentation.

• Good knowledge of architectural design and construction detailing.

• Ability to accurately interpret sketches and convert them into detailed architectural drawings.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong attention to detail.

• Good understanding of architectural documentation.

• Ability to work independently as well as within a collaborative team.

• Good communication and coordination skills.

• Ability to manage multiple drawings/tasks within project timelines.

• Candidates with 3D modelling, rendering and walkthrough experience will have an advantage.
