Job Title: Sr. Accountant

Job Location: Seegehalli , Kadugodi.

Department: Finance/Accounting

Job Summary:

The Junior Accountant will be responsible for supporting the accounting department in various financial tasks. The role includes handling bookkeeping duties, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing processes. The Junior Accountant will ensure the accuracy of financial records and help maintain compliance with accounting principles.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.

Perform general ledger entries and reconcile accounts.

Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.

Process invoices, payments, and expenses.

Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures.

Review and verify the accuracy of financial data.

Prepare and file tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.

Maintain and update accounting records in the accounting system.

Assist with budget preparation and forecasting.

Perform other accounting-related tasks as required.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP).

Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Sage).

Proficient in MS Excel (pivot tables, formulas).

Good organizational and time management skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

5-7 years of experience in an accounting or finance role.

Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.

Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
