Job Title: Senior Accountant

Education: Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent

Experience: 4-7 years in accounting and financial management

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background with a B.Com degree and a proven track record in accounting and financial management.

Responsibilities:

Financial Reporting: Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.

Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with tax regulations by managing Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) calculations, payments, and filings. Proficiency in Goods and Services Tax (GST) is essential.

Income Tax Return (ITR) Filing: Prepare and file income tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.

Auditing: Facilitate and coordinate external audits, as well as internal audits, to ensure financial records are accurate and in accordance with applicable standards.

Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Financial Analysis: Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions and strategies.

Compliance: Stay updated on changes in accounting and tax regulations to ensure the company's compliance with applicable laws.

Team Collaboration: Work closely with the finance team, providing guidance and support to junior staff members.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.

4-7 years of experience in accounting and financial management.

Proficiency in TDS, GST, and ITR filing.

Strong knowledge of auditing processes and standards.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
