The Billing Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the company’s billing operations with accuracy, efficiency, and professionalism. This role involves preparing and issuing invoices, verifying billing data, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments from clients. The executive also coordinates with internal departments such as accounts, sales, and logistics to resolve discrepancies and support smooth financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and process customer invoices, debit/credit notes, and statements.
Verify billing information, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Track payments and follow up with clients on outstanding balances.
Maintain organized billing records and update transaction databases.
Coordinate with the finance team to support monthly closing activities.
Assist in generating reports and summaries for management review.
Address billing inquiries and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Required Skills:
Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy.
Good knowledge of accounting principles and billing procedures.
Proficiency in MS Excel and billing/accounting software.
Effective communication and coordination skills.
Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks under deadlines.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.
Prior experience in billing, accounting, or finance is preferred.
